Happy Birthday El Guapo!
It’s El Guapo’s Birthday (coincidentally on the same day as my mother’s birthday)! He is one of the nicest guys in my blogging community, supportive, kind & encouraging. He loves adventure like skydiving, surfing & skiing which he allows me to experience vicariously through his posts. He was lucky enough to escape most of the wrath of Superstorm Sandy, but now his employer has merged with another company & he’s looking for work.
I couldn’t figure out how to put a music video on my blog (& Guaps is my “go to” guy when I want some technical help but I really couldn’t ask him this time), so I thought I would put in the lyrics from Cyndi Lauper’s song since he likes some of her work:

Hope you are having a great day Guaps! I’ll have to bug you in the near future about how to put music in my blog, but I’m not going to bug you on your birthday. You’re right about a lot of birthdays at this time of year – my dad’s birthday is exactly 2 weeks before mine & my mother’s birthday follows mine by 2 days. I had an aunt, who has since passed, who had her birthday on Dec. 5 too.

In a post, you cut the URL from the bar up there, and choose ‘add media’ like if you’re adding a picture, and choose ‘from URL’, then paste the link.
for some annoying reason, in a comment you just cut the URL and paste it right in the box, and it works. Why they don’t do that for posts too is beyond me.
