It’s that time of year again where people bake cookies & pies, roast turkeys, etc. Since Christmas has just been hubby & me for most of the last 16 years, I’m thinking of starting a new traditional meal for Christmas –
This will make some of my blogging buddies (in particular Brain Rants & Edward Hotspur) very happy!
Merry Christmas to all! If you have time stop by C4C (Company for Christmas) today to spread some cheer to bloggers who are alone at the holidays. I’ll be stopping by from time to time.

Been there, done that, hoping RoS makes some T-shirts! 😀 Seriously, haven’t had a chance to help any lonely folk (that I know of), but have started a wonderful chat with a lady who came to the States from Venezuela, where her parents fled from WW2! What’re the odds?
And throw a couple of them bacon-wrapped dogs on the grill for me, okay?

Were you trolling John? I barely hit publish & there you are with a comment already! Wow! Do you like sauerkraut on your dogs John? Merry Christmas my friend!

I keep hitting read on my Email, watching for stuff on C4C – easier than trying to track the various different “areas” that RoS created. No sauerkraut, thanks, I’ll stick to the old “ketchup, mustard, relish” routine. Or chili, no beans. And definitely cheese. Gotta have cheese! 😀
Hope you’re having a good day too!

What about onions? I like cheese on my dogs too – cheese, mustard & onions if I’m at home; mustard, ketchup, relish & onions if I’m getting it at a game or something. They never seem to have cheese available.

Depends on when I’m eating these days. Onions after 6:30 ain’t a real good idea. I consider my age of 50 as an average – parts of me are doing better than 50, other parts are WELL past retirement!
And trust me, at public sites like that, they never have cheese. They may have (if I recall this correctly) cheeeze. (A great bit from when “Top Gear UK” came to the southern US. 😀 )

My security won’t let me click on the link you sent, but I’ve seen the bacon wrapped turtles before. I ONLY like chocolate turtles!

Wow! They remind me of meat candy canes! hahahaha!!! Why not, the stuff I made yesterday was a heart attack waiting to happen – lasagne laden with different cheeses, sausage, hamburger, and we we eat left overs tomorrow with sister-in-law, she’s bringing cheesecake!!! 🙂 Happy eating! 🙂 Marsha 🙂

With just hubby & I for Christmas we skip dessert. I would almost kill for some cheesecake or fudge or chocolates or mince pie!

Just started poking around the C4C pages. I’ll keep an eye out if someone wants to chat…
I bet some misguided soul will make a turkey dog/bacon version of those.
Merry Christmas Benze!

Turkey bacon is actually very tasty, so I wouldn’t cry if someone handed me a turkey bacon dog. And who knows it might stay in the bun better, rather than a real bacon dog shooting out the other end when you take a bite!

Very awesome, Benze. I can’t recall if I posted about my bacon belly bomb or not… but google that shit.

I went & looked it up Brain – 5,000 calories & 500 grams of fat? Looks delish though! Are you getting any bacon over there?

Hotdogs wrapped in bacon??? YUM!!! I’d love them! And another advantage is that with all the cool chemicals that they put into both hotdogs and bacon, with the two together, you’d never have to worry about them spoiling! Hell, if you ate enough of them, when certain side effects kicked in, they wouldn’t even need to embalm your body because you’d be so well preserved too! Lol 😀
Thanks for a real laugh on a day when I really needed one, Lynda, cause that was really funny! 🙂
