What is your most favorite smell/scent?
I think the smells associated with Thanksgiving are my favorite smells – pumpkin pie, vanilla, roasting turkey, spiced apples
How do you write: computer, longhand or other?
I have used a computer for writing for a very long time. It started when I had arthritis in my hands, making it difficult for me to use a pen for any length of time. Then I fractured my right wrist & my right hand was in a cast for a little over 6 weeks & I couldn’t use it to write with, so I just became used to using the computer for all my writing.
Your favorite blog post that you have written? (add link)
Talk about putting me on the spot! I like the posts I have written in support of causes the best – gun control (https://benzeknees.wordpress.com/2013/05/16/are-you-kidding-me/), feminine issues (https://benzeknees.wordpress.com/2012/03/08/international-womens-day-2012/), bullying, etc.
What’s one of your favorite books from childhood?
I remember Alice in Wonderland as one of my favorite books. I used to read a lot of Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys mysteries as well.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for all my blogging buddies, I am grateful for the prompts provided by Cee’s Photography for Share Your Week & the Introverts Club. I am looking forward to starting my new online course from FutureLearn on Forensic Sciences starting on Monday, March 31 so I can learn more to help me with future writing.

When I was a kid I broke my thumb and had to learn to write with my left hand for school. but a fractured wrist–that sounds painful. I loved Nancy Drew when I was a kid. Oddly enough I don’t remember reading Alice in Wonderland until I was an adult. Hope all is well

Oh, that course sounds interesting, have fun with it!
Funny, I don’t care for turkey but you are right about how it smells. It fits into my favorite scents too 🙂

I think I re-read Alice in Wonderland a number of times because of the imagery of the caterpillar & the Cheshire cat!

Thanks Beth Ann! My mother used to complain all the time about the price of books because I would read a Nancy Drew Mystery so fast!

Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys–I used to inhale those books at rapid speed. When they made them into TV series, I was in heaven. And I was convinced I’d marry Parker Stevenson. Turns out I didn’t…

Oh, I used to love Parker Stevenson too! I wonder whatever happened to him? My mother used to complain too because I would devour Nancy Drew & the Hardy Boys so fast!

I didn’t start on the Hardy Boy until I had devoured all the Nancy Drew Mysteries available. I have to admit I liked the Hardy Boys a bit better!

“pumpkin pie”
Me as well, Benze! OMG…I love the smell of pumpkin pie! And one of my other favorite smells is cedarwood. I LOVE that smell!
And because for the past 10 years of using a computer and typing all the time, I can even write longhand anymore. My penmanship used to be beautiful, but not anymore.
Have a FAB weekend, my friend!

I had unusual penmanship when I used to have to write, but now the computer is the only way to go. Hubby has beautiful penmanship, much better than mine! Back at you for a fab weekend!

I so rarely get to eat it because hubby hates it, but I certainly love the smell. I was very disappointed by a coffee I bought for my Keurig called Pumpkin Spice though. It smelled delicious but tasted awful! Go figure – in real life I love a cup of coffee after eating a slice of pumpkin pie!
