The Midnight Side
by Natasha Mostert

Synopsis:  A phone call from the dead. Lucid dreaming. A ghost manipulating the London stock exchange. And a truly frightening story of love gone wrong.

THE MIDNIGHT SIDE is a chilling tale of a seductive woman who, even from the grave, is able to manipulate events to her satisfaction. A haunting story of obsession and revenge, Natasha Mostert’s novel is an intricate psychological thriller with an ending that will leave you breathless.

Isa receives a call from her cousin but finds out later her cousin was dead when the call came through.  As Isa works to close up her cousin’s estate, she finds Alette has left detailed & bizarre instructions on how she wants things handled.  Isa is torn between her desire to fulfill her cousin’s wishes & her own sense of right & wrong.  She begins to wonder how well she really knew her beloved cousin.

I was happy to read yet a third book by Natasha Mostert & found The Midnight Side to be just as fascinating as the first ones I read.  Again, there are a number of twists & turns in this book as well as great suspense.

I would give this book 4 stars out of 5.  Definitely a worthwhile read!
