While I might not understand the politics of the blue/red states of which he speaks, I am certainly all for some type of gun control before we lose a whole generation to mass shootings!

I read that article last week and thought it was a great piece. I like that King had them pull his book, worried that it might incite more violence.

Benze, I am a giant fan of Stephen King, and having read it piece, only makes me a larger fan. His assessment is 100 pct spot on, and makes sense. I don’t own a gun, never have owned one, and never will. And like Stephen I am all for the folks that want them. But they don’t need semi-automatic weapons, and like he said if they can’t hit the target with 10 rounds they need to go back to the range anyway. Thanks for the great post. Take care, Bill

I’ve said this before in some of my posts on gun control – if you can’t hit the target with a single shot gun then you need to practice more or don’t use a gun!
